Right, here's my dilema:

Cosplay Ball, I need ideas for my boyfriend and I.

I have one idea already;
Seymour and Yuna (Wedding outfits)

But I need some more...

I have considered Tsubasa and the like but my boyfriend has long, blonde dreadlocks which complicates things =P They are hard to fit under a wig!

I want a rather elegent costume and obviously it needs to be formal as it's a ball. My sewing skills do not have much limit and I prefer more extravagant costumes.

I am very petite, hair is not an issue; wear wigs.

Below, I have the dark brunette/black hair and you can see my boyfriend is the guy with dreads =P

They are longer now as well, we could put it under a wig but not a small wig, would have to be big...

Haha, same. I just want some more ideas because I'll have to fund (I'm making them but material costs are high) the two costumes if it's Yuna and Seymour as boyfriend doesn't really want to do him so the deal is he'll do it if I fund it.

I see... Hmm... Another one would be Bob Makihara(Because i like the style your boyfriend has with the dreads)

But then again I havent seen them dressed in formal wear for a ball room getup.

I like these two but I dont like what happened to them in both the anime and manga.

Has anyone else had a wedding ceremony ?

Sailor Moon would be one of the given choices but still its difficult.

Yeah, also the complexion problem. My boyfriend is very very pale and has blonde dreadlocks (though they look brunette in the photo) XD

Though Squall and Rinoa is another one. Though they do goto to some Prom like ceremony.

Maybe you can keep the dreads and have it like Squall and Rinoa... Maybe a Dreads version of Squall, I have seen Squall done with different hairstyles... Or maybe change from Dreads to braids... Like Jeff Hardy has done from time to time in Several Wrestling appearances.

We can't undo his dreads, they are firmly knotted unfortunately =(

Yeah, not so keen on their outfits, too plain. Probably stick to Yuna and Seymour. I'm so difficult XD;

you could maybe consider Ranma and Akane from Ranma 1/2, they have a couple of eps where they wear fancy stuff:

there's some other ones I couldn't find, like from the second movie, and one of the manga covers has her in a pink dress and him in a tux.
