I'm 5'5", female, blonde (my hair is almost waist length). I'm willing to do temporary dye to lighter shades of blonde, but darker dyes stain my hair & I hate wigs. :/ I'm having issues finding blonde characters I actually like though... Oh and it would be nice if the costume doesn't cost an arm and a leg to make.

Any ideas?

Sorry I took so long to respond! Thank you so much!! I really love Shinku from Rozen Maiden, but I will have to keep her in mind for when I have a larger budget. I don't know anything about Saber's character, but she's gorgeous. & She has so much hair! That kind of style requires butt-length really full hair though...

I decided for this con I will make a Misa costume (I know they're everywhere, but she's very new to me), in the outfit from the cover of Death Note manga volume 4. So at least it's not your typical cheap schoolgirl Misa.

Julia from Cowboy Bebop! She's one of my favorite characters from that series, and she's gorgeous. Only downside is that she tends to wear black leather, and leather is expensive. But you can substitute easily.
